Jinzhou Cao is an Assistant Professor at the Shenzhen Technology University(SZTU) with the College of Big Data and Internet. Previously, he worked at the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Urban Informatics at the Shenzhen University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Associate.He earned his Ph.D. in GIS from State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS), Wuhan University. He was also a visiting student of University of Washington, Seattle, USA. during his Ph.D. student period. His research interest and expertise areas include Urban Big Data Mining, Geo-AI and Urban Analytics on the Interaction between Human Mobility and Urban Envronments. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in activity-based urban functions, individual mobility patterns, urban mobility networks and urban mobility scalings. His works have been cited over 400 times according to Google Scholar. He has lead and participated in several research grants funded by NSFC, PSFC, etc.
